• great concept, seeing the story from the "monster" perspective
• some interesting takes on the Lovecraftian Mythos
• too many characters that  are not fleshed out, that I didn't thus care for
• pacing was off. The few moments where "stuff happens" are mired in too much talking exposition or inner monologue that doesn't reflect the plot
