As someone who has personally experienced numerous challenges and hardships while dealing with self-harm, I believe this book captured the harsh realities of the struggle exceptionally well. I found it so relatable that I had to take breaks while reading due to the triggering nature of the contents. As much as I can, I try to distance myself from such narratives.

Though I really enjoyed the book, the only reason I couldn't give it a perfect 5-star rating was because I felt like the story became somewhat 'boring' as it progresses.
