This book was a good solid read. It has suspenseful and emotional parts. I especially liked seeing Marty come to faith.  It wasn't one of my top reads, but I still enjoyed it. Also no spice as always with Janette Oke books.

  • No spice: there is a kiss at the end of the book but it is bref and does not go into detail. It is also between a married couple (technically).
