I love the idea of this book. I have always gravitated toward food as magic books and when I heard this was a tea magic system I was hooked. However, the politics of the society were confusing, there was almost no character development, and I kept feeling like it was trying to be a whole trilogy in one book even though nothing happened most of it. The lyrical writing was nice, but it was a little disappointing
