The Lost Prince

I really loved ‘The Iron Fey’ series by Julie Kagawa. So when I read about ‘The Lost Prince’ I just knew I had to read it. ‘The Lost Prince’ is the first book in ‘The Forgotten’ series. It’s based in the same world as ‘The Iron Fey’ series only this time the story is about Ethan Chase, Meghan’s younger brother.
Just like with ‘The Iron Fey’ series I loved ‘The Lost Prince’ book from the moment I started it. In ‘The Lost Prince’ we read about the life of Ethan, Meghan’s little half- brother. Ethan is seventeen years old and his life has never been the same since he was kidnapped by Fairies and his sister Meghan disappeared almost twelve years ago. Now, in high school, Ethan tries to live a normal life. Unfortunately this is impossible for Ethan, because ever since his sister disappeared, Ethan has been bullied and chased by fairies because he has the ‘Sight’. The ‘Sight’ makes him able to see fairies everywhere, and fairies love to make people with the ‘Sight’ miserable. Ethan tries to avoid the fairies as much as he can but when he starts at a new school, strange fairies arrive to make Ethan’s life even more miserable. Soon Ethan’s is forced to enter the world he so desperately tries to avoid, to save his new friends and to get the peace he so desperately wants.
This first book in ‘The Forgotten’ series was as amazing as the books in ‘The Iron Fey’ series. I loved to read about Ethan’s life and his ‘friend’ Kenzie. What I also really liked was to read about Meghan, Ash and Puck. This book was just really great and I can’t wait until the next book in this series.
I love Julie Kagawa’s books and this book was just as amazing as all her other books. I give ‘The Lost Prince’ five stars.
