Greg Zipper is a paranormal vlogger on the verge of reaching a massive milestone, one million subscribers. After getting a small taste of success, Greg decides that he needs to do something drastic if he's ever going to make it to the big-time. So, he takes to the dark web in search of that special something that will help him accomplish his ultimate goal and make him an internet star. Only, what he finds is much more sinister than he ever imagined and reaching one million subscribers is the last thing on his mind. All he wants now, is to escape with his life or at least what remains of it.
Ladies of horror fiction are killin it right now and Brianna Morgan further proves that with her play, UNBOXED. To be honest, I had never read a play before but I just had a good feeling about the author and the fact that this was something new for me was certainly appealing. Culture yourselves people, you won't regret it! I think Morgan is an excellent storyteller and what she touches on here really hit home with me. Social media can be all encompassing and is a serious detriment to our real life personal relationships. Toss in some seriously spooky scenes and you've got a homerun. I would pay darn good money to see this acted out. I'm eager to read more terrifying plays if this is any indication of what I can expect. Horror has many forms and I'm grateful Brianna Morgan introduced me to a new medium.
Unboxed is my absolute favorite short read this year so far and to say I'm excited for the author's upcoming release, The Tricker-Treater and Other Stories, is an understatement. I truly believe that this quick read has the capability of reaching a wide audience. It's not just for fans of horror, it's for fans of the arts. Brianna Morgan Is a bright light that shines on the #HorrorCommunity and this is just the beginning for her. Beware of unmarked packages, the Boxer and his menacing Entity.
