Thank goodness for that ending! I was starting to get afraid I had to lower my rating of this book.
Spoiler The whole leaving each other, again , kind of made me so mad. At that point I was wondering why I was even reading the book, they were at the exact same place they were four months ago, even after everything that happened.
To be completely honest, I thought I saw the ending coming from miles. And then I didn't. And then I did!

Even though it took a while for me to get into the book, and even though I thought the pacing was a bit slow in the beginning. I really enjoyed reading about Janelle's world after the (almost) WFC. I also really enjoyed to see the other earths. It really showed that although all the worlds started out the same, different experiences can lead to different choices which lead to different worlds altogether.

It was really fun to read about the life of the other Janelle, I would have liked to see more of here, but I also think the author made a nice point by having her run away.
Spoiler The whole "evil twin Struz" was kind of predictable, and maybe a bit to obvious.

I did really enjoy the action and suspense in this one. It reminded me of the first time I read the [b:The Hunger Games|2767052|The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games #1)|Suzanne Collins|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1358275334s/2767052.jpg|2792775], Janelle was really strong and bad-ass, without losing her humanity and personality.

In my opinion, Ben could have made an appearance earlier on in the book. The romance in this novel is very limited, and although I knew I didn't have to expect hot and steamy, there is hardly any romance, in contrast to the first book in which it was (and had to be) very prominent.

However, this did not bother me at the time. Having limited romance meant there was also limited drama. Which was such a welcome change. I did, however, sense some tension between Barclay and Janelle, and I would have liked to know whether that was just my imagination or something more...

All in all, I really enjoyed this book. Cecily and Elijah were hilarious and I hope [a:Elizabeth Norris|5073459|Elizabeth Norris|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1328567106p2/5073459.jpg] explores their relationship (Maybe even an entire next book :D). I cannot wait to read the next one and hope that we will not be disappointed! I do think that this would have been a nice ending to the series, but we will see...
