Throughly enjoyed this fast paced beach read! The pace of the book reminded me of a game of tennis with the odd break supplied by the social commentary of the events of the book! I pictured every scene of this book in my head and although most of the book takes place on a tennis court I was never once bored.
The main themes of this book women in sport, ageing, and father/daughter relationships where interesting and intriguing to read about without bordering on educational! The father character is a delight!
Half a point removed as there was so much room to develop the emotional and relational elements of this book- although I do appreciate this is not really a genre for this.
Half a point removed for the very obvious love connection!
