The Madhouse at the End of the Earth: The Belgica's Journey Into the Dark Antarctic Night by Julian Sancton

adventurous dark informative inspiring slow-paced

4.0

I typically read novels, so I have fewer opinions regarding non-fiction. This is an interesting account of an Antarctic voyage. It is well researched and well written, with an interesting story and memorable characters. It wasn't quite as mad as the title suggested, but it's worth your time if you're interested in late 19th/early 20th century polar exploration.
