The Courage to Be Disliked: How to Free Yourself, Change your Life and Achieve Real Happiness by Fumitake Koga, Ichiro Kishimi

4.0

I noticed that a lot of people called this book “victim blaming”? I believe that to be a misinterpretation. It never says that what happens to you is your fault, quite the contrary. To me it’s pretty common sense, it’s not your fault what happens to you, but it’s up to you to fix it. It sucks, but that’s the way it is. It is also up to you to determine your outlook on life.

I found this book helpful but it’s probably just not for everyone, like many different thoughts on philosophy.

I will say that I found the “youth” very annoying throughout the book.
