Probably an unpopular opinion, though I’m immune compromised and disabled so whatever, but I cannot stand when authors choose to write in the pandemic and then ignore that the pandemic is ongoing. Phrases like “after the pandemic I have no friends” really eat at me. If you choose to write in the pandemic at least be accurate about it.
