The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri

5.0

This is my second time reading it! I picked it up again mostly because I couldn't remember much about the way it described hell, and I was curious to see after watching the show Lucifer. This is a book that takes time and effort to read, because it's not always written in easy-to-understand English, but also because there are so many ideas to absorb. It's full of some wonderful quotes too, which I always appreciate. I highly recommend this - I think everyone should read Inferno, at the very least. It's just so riveting and wonderfully written, and it tells you a lot about the culture in Dante's time.
