Did not finish book. Stopped at 44%.

So, so dry. This is more fact-reporting than narrative based. There's a recurring story/central question, addressing how the regions of the world developed as they did. I've loved Diamond's podcast interviews about the book - the whole reason I picked up the audiobook-- but this is too slow and dry to finish.
