Double Cross: The True Story of the D-Day Spies by Ben Macintyre

adventurous challenging dark emotional hopeful informative inspiring mysterious tense fast-paced

4.25

An interesting glimpse into espionage in the Second World War. Surprising how gullible the German security and intelligence forces were. Even after D-Day and after the war, some did not realize all their agents in Britain were double agents. Some interesting aside like the homing pigeon plot that led nowhere, but interesting nonetheless. Also interesting to learn about the infighting between MI5 and MI6. Definitely worth the read.
