Strengthsfinder 2.0
by Tom Rath
My place of work used the Strengthsfinder 2.0 test for a retreat a month ago, so I had skimmed the intro and read my sections with some detail. Since then I have continued to circle back to the ideas and frameworks the book outlines, so I decided it was time to read it for real. I just finished reading the intro closely and then reading all the different strengths.
I continue to find this to be a really useful test. There are strengths that felt familiar to me that didn't show up in my top five. But there were a number that were clearly not me. I suspect those that were were probably not far behind my top five.
I'd recommend the Strengthsfinder 2.0 instrument to anyone interested in personality and becoming better or more effective in your work or personal life. Good read!
