I absolutely loved reading this book. This is why I love reading incredible historical fiction. I quite literally COULD NOT put this book down, and read it in almost one day. Quite possibly my favorite book of 2022. Bravo to the author for this debut novel. It was stunning. I can't stop thinking about the story and these characters.
