A Civil Campaign by Lois McMaster Bujold

4.0

Difficult one, this, because the first third of the book I feel almost comically unable to enjoy because it's building up to Miles's deserved humiliation and my second-hand embarrassment, but once that's done and dusted, the rest of the book is an entertaining comedy of manners and delicious high level intrigue, as per the rest of the series, but with significant added romance.
