Just One Day
by Gayle Forman
Do not read if you have not read the first and last chapter of Just one year.
Overall, I liked it. In some aspects I related to Allyson except I though her crazy obsession with Willem was taken a bit too far. Seriously, one day and suddenly you're "stained, in love". Throw your academic career out the door because you are too busy moping around about a guy that left you after sex. In reality, he is a player in this book or really you see it in the very first chapter of the next book it is because spoiler he had a concussion and was in hospital. There was no way that they would have last being from two different continents and then suddenly she shows up and everything is peachy also read the last chapter which is how Just One Night will end. Even though I am gripping to read it, I know it is so completely unrealistic. Seriously, this just does not happen in reality and her personality in the beginning you would have thought she would have been smart enough not to go to an unknown country by yourself with a stranger you just met, has she not seen Taken. Anyway, a nice read but like a said before unrealistic and I found Allyson to be a bit annoying at times, she lived before him she certainly can after one day with him. Although she did eventually grow as a person which was good. Rant over.
