Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Praise:
—> Relatable - as I read Rebecca’s thoughts surrounding her spending, her analysing her conversations with other characters my first thought is — why is she always on a high horse, always daydreaming and can’t seem to hold herself accountable for anything! But then I step back and think oh I do that too!

—> Always onto the next thing - I understand Rebecca is unhappy with her current job and is working on ways to find something more suitable for her ‘expensive taste’ but she does that as she is considering new things. It’s like she has a thought for cutting back/ making more money but she literally dives in head first! and creates unrealistic expectations — again relatable!
—> I like that the author incorporated actual formal styled letters - its a nice touch

Criticism:
—> Luke Brandon — he’s a bit blah honestly! He’s sort of jumping onto the next thing when his girlfriend leaves him towards the end and Rebecca is aware of that in a way. He bad mouths a client on national TV! Personally, I feel he could have worded him realising the insurance company was a rip off. Not saying he should have been okay with it. It was good he was in favour on the right thing. He could have been more professional — how is he a multimillionaire!?

—> Towards the end, I was hoping for Rebecca to apply her financial knowledge in her own life as well and we do get a glimpse into — when she says no to shopping but later when she orders herself sunglasses from a TV ad and CHOOSES to miss her bank meeting is a let down — of course, if she did go through with it then it wouldn’t be a series!

Overall, I enjoyed this book, it was lighthearted
