Blister is my second Jeff Strand book so far. The first was [b:The Haunted Forest Tour|34339545|The Haunted Forest Tour|Jeff Strand|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1487518436l/34339545._SY75_.jpg|55411347], which is a horror book about monsters and blood and guts. So, I expected something similar with this book. However, this is more like a romance than it is a horror. A super fucked up romance, but possibly now one of my favorite romances.
It gets 5 stars from me. I can't think of anything I didn't like about it. The pace and length of the book were perfect, the characters are interesting and memorable. It was sad, horrifying, funny, and touching. I loved it!
