and now i remember why i liked the second book more. can’t wait for book number three!

After reading Beartown (the first book in this series that I looooved) I was beyond happy to find out that there was a follow up. Beartown left so many unanswered questions and I generally felt connected to the residents of this swedish town. It's hard to pick but I'd say Us Against You affected me more then the prior book. the layout of the story is quite a similar style. and of course a lot happens. Many characters are featured (new and old) and all are very important to the story. Like beartown, this story is very timely and equal parts devastating and hopeful.
"Some of us will fall in love, others will be crushed; we'll have good days and some very bad days. This town will rejoice, but it will also start to burn. There's going to be a terrible bang."
