god I fucking love this book, the entire series really.
The characters all feel very real, the plot is intriguing, the book is well paced, and the romance is very well written. The other parts of the plot, and the romance are both super well balanced. The romance just feels like one other aspect of the whole plot, rather than the whole.
So enjoyable and well written. I've reread 3 times so far, and I'm undoubtedly going to do so again.
Also, it's never explicitly stated, and I'm unsure if it's on purpose, but the MC Grace reads as autistic to me. She is an incredibly anxious character, but there's just something about her thought process, and how she interacts with others, and everything happening around her that feels very autistic coded. Very much appreciate it as an autistic person.
