an absolute slay. mickey and digeo are amazing. i loved them both and cared about their lives with each other and outside of the romance. the characters are older than usual for contemporary romance - and that is a major win! it was refreshing to read from their perspectives and i didn’t have to deal with a ridiculous 3rd act break-up

(they take a pause, which made way more sense and didn’t piss me off lol)

. plus, mickey and diego are both HOT 🙌🏾 and their dynamic was so well done.

i almost took .25 off bc the last chapter and the epilogue were leaning towards cringe

(i’m sorry but saying i love you for the first time in front of everyone is so…….and moving in and getting engaged after a year of dating is also…….)

but i decided to let them live
