The Book of Two Ways by Jodi Picoult
3.0

Mildly disappointing overall. I enjoyed the deep-dives on Egyptology. I found the long passages on death too hard/sad to read. I usually like books with shifting timelines and flashbacks, but these often felt like whiplash and hard to track. It was clear the protagonist loved her daughter and that love was a driver in big decisions, but the book didn't spend enough time on that relationship. Finally, the ending was too ambiguous for my tastes.
