Pretty Dead Girls by Monica Murphy

An easy mystery read !
I do have spoilers in this one :)
There was a certainly a good element of mystery in it ! I never did it guess the killer. BUT apart from who the killer was, the book was quite predictable. That really was the downside. I mean I was SURE the killer wasn't Courtney or Cass from the very beginning, no matter how much the author/book tried to emphasize it. And other 'surprises' weren't that surprising either. Like the time who that 'unknown' was who texted Penelope. Pfft.. really ? .
The writing is okay. Nothing to say about that.
The build up was my favorite thing in the book. It was made in perfect order. I also loved the transitions between Penelope and the killer. Made it exciting. Made us think that Penelope was the killer herself. At least for me, that was the case. I thought that maybe, Penelope has some memory loss or dual identity problem which is why she can't remember the fact that she killed people. Which would have been even a better story ? I don't know.
All in all, a good efficient mystery read.
