“Family is not whose blood runs in your veins, it's who you'd spill it for.”

Uniquely written, in that the narrator is telling the story of his family's involvement in a murder mystery as he is writing a book on their experience.  It's a serious mystery with several twists and a few gruesome moments, but it's also filled with dark humor.
