I will always be biased towards a solarpunk based book. I loved every aspect of this book, it’s so well written and the world is such a beautiful and hopeful world that I wish to live in it.

The robots gaining sentience and deciding that they will head off, the world being built sustainably yet acknowledged by the people living in it that it’s not perfect, the tea monk! Tea! Tea that comforts people! A mobile transportation that is not oil reliant. Best of all, an unlikely friendship between a robot and a monk. Lovely lovely stuff.

The dedication says “for anybody who could use a break” and that was certainly me when I picked it up.
