Well written story and well written male characters. Horrible attempt at female characters. Too much rape and boob descriptions. This man was too horny when he wrote this... at one point he couldn't even describe the summer weather without randomly comparing it to boobs. I love the historical detail and backdrop, but good lord, there's only so much misogyny I can deal with.... (not the historical misogyny- the authors).
