The Sentence is Death
by Anthony Horowitz
Disappointed. The second installment in this series is not up to the level one expects from this author. 2.5 rounded to 3.
Yes, he still can set a scene with a few words, but so many were boring, and didn’t add to the story.
The female policewoman character is written so ridiculously, I had to ponder if it’s as a joke?
Some plot twists were glaringly obvious.
Some red herrings were obvious. It felt sloppy.
To top it all- the audiobook’s narrator, when acting any female characters, is terrible!
