Done and Dusted
by Lyla Sage
“Now, I was getting to know a different side of Emmy, but I could still see parts of the girl with the razor-sharp tongue in the woman with the tempting mouth.”
I have to be honest: the brother’s best friend trope is not my favorite. I also think this book didn’t give you enough of the relationship between the men to really build up the level of betrayal involved.
That said, I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed Emmy’s journey of recovering from a recent trauma. I enjoyed the setting, the small town, the honky tonk bar, the Rebel Blue Ranch. I enjoyed Luke and Emmy’s slow burn romance. I will absolutely continue with the series just to visit Meadowlark, Wyoming again.
