3.25

This was picked a year ago for my Mystery Book club by accident. This is not a mystery and it should never be categorized as such, because as a mystery it is pitiful. This fits better as an adventurous historical fiction romp, which is why it sat unfinished on my shelf for so long despite its short length of 217 pages.

I rate it a 3.25 since it’s passable, with the characters being the saving grace since otherwise I personally find the subject matter a bore. I would not have picked this book up on my own fruition but if you like medieval history and slice of life, I imagine this would be a fun series.
