The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

This is my favorite book. Patrick Rothfuss crafts a incredibly detailed fantasy world and then populates it with immensely enjoyable characters. It's a perfectly written fantasy novel that will make you realize that most of the other fantasy novels you've read sucked donkey dick.
