Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak

1.0

I’m struggling immensely to put my thoughts into words with this. Let me start off by saying the pictures in this book are the best part. I thoroughly enjoyed the idea of an illustrated mystery for adults. I just wish the whole thing was executed better.

Set aside the blatant dislike for atheists, the whole idea that Mallory never once noticed that Teddy wasn’t a boy is beyond mind boggling. I’m also very confused by the fact that Mallory’s mother couldn’t help her with her drug addiction because … she was … too fat? What? Maybe just look at the pictures and enjoy that part of the book and consider it a read.
