Wolf Hollow by Lauren Wolk

4.0

I must confess that it was the beautiful cover that attracted me to this book but the writing inside more than lives up to the promise. A masterfully told, atmospheric story set in rural America during World War II which deals with bulling and injustice and the price to be paid when we judge people by the way they look. With well-developed characters, a wonderfully described historical setting and a thought-provoking and powerful plot this is a book I would recommend to almost anyone.
