A good sequel to an amazing first book. Cam is a fantastic character and I gasped when they introduced him. This book is not as good as the third, however. The introduction to Miracolina was a good idea but I feel like she didn’t learn anything at the end of it. It bothered me that Lev was the one the thank her and have some sort of revelation about himself as a character. I wish it was the other way around and Miracolina was the one to thank Lev. It would have developed her as a character as well as Lev. Especially since they just left that church and Lev saved Miracolina from Nelson. Cam was the only big development that I enjoyed from the book ( though the raid at the Graveyard was great too ). Everything else kind of felt like set up for the third book.
