Kill the Dead by Richard Kadrey

5.0

This is a true thrill ride through L.A. both above and below ground.

Simply put, it was amazing!

At first I was worried that the charm of the piece would wear our and the monotony of the character's belligerence and constant, depressive, self-loathing would bore me, but no, just as I was about to think that, the book took an unexpected turn and kept turning until the very end. Some of the turns are more predictable then others, but not all things can be gold. Most, in this case, are, though.

The characters are still compelling and very real, as well as completely surreal.

Cannot wait to get into the next one.

p.s. if Brigitte Bardo were real, I would immediately purchase every single one of her movies. (That is one bad-ass bombshell)
