This was a sweet story about two girls (Moon and Christine) who become neighbors and then find themselves becoming close friends. As with many relationships, sometimes it can be tricky and being a young girl at a new school certainly has some challenges.
When one of the girls has a medical emergency, it will shake up the community quite a bit and will rally the community to offer support and generally leave such warm fuzzy feelings.
I highly recommend this book!
Trigger warnings: brief mention of death of a parent, medical emergency, major surgery, bullying, single parent household
