A gorgeous, authentic Gothic read that will satisfy every reader's inner antiquarian poet. Extremely developed plot line and characters! Every last detail was buttoned up. Very impressive. My rating is only 3.5 because it was slooow to start. In my opinion, the action began at page 300 and I wanted to DNF many times. I'm glad I finished it though. I definitely understand the appeal and positive reviews and WOULD recommend.
