I came into this book knowing that this was recommended to me because of my favourite trope, cheating.
While the plot is it something to write home about! What made me give this a 5⭐️, was the angst of a woman who agreed to a threesome, she didn’t want to do, with her long-term boyfriend. Then having to watch him mess with another woman.
That scene coupled with other angsty scenes made the book that more enjoyable to me.
Also the fact that he understood once they got back together and talked. That what he did to her and how they broke up was incredibly wrong. Which makes him a redeemable hero!
Now if you take the angst out of the story then it’s like a 3.5 ⭐️ ! But there’s definitely a whole bunch of drama, reconnections, & understanding between our couple.
