This was brilliant. I really liked the essays style, as opposed to a standard chronological biography. I didn't necessarily agree with everything she said/her stance on everything, but I didn't need to in order to really enjoy this and to respect her views and especially her bravery in speaking about everything she did. Overall, this was really interesting, eye-opening and well worth the read/listen.

I did the audiobook, which I always tend to do for non-fiction and especially if it's read by the author, and it was great. My favourite chapters were the ones that included Bring it on and 10 things I hate about you - 10 year old me was dying. There wasn't that much in the book about her career/specific roles she's been in, which is a shame in a sense, but like I said, it's a collection is essays that cover important themes from her life, not a blow-by-blow of her life experiences.
