Queer horror is my favourite genre, and this is one of the best I’ve read.
It’s a horror inspired by a serial killer in Toronto who targeted gay men in the 2010s, and the author’s experience living through the HIV/AIDS crisis.
Between each chunk of the novel, the author breaks the fourth wall with his personal experiences and insight into what lead to this book.
