I have had this on my shelf since it came out and have had it hyped up so much since then that I think I expected so much more. This isn’t bad by any means but I was so excited to finally start this that I’m truly disappointed. I did not care for the main love interest. To be upset that he wasn’t with her during a big revelation for her? That should’ve been about her and what she needed not him being a part of it. I’m also sad that we barely see her best friend the entire book even though they were so close in the beginning. I wanted and expected so much more from this in so many ways.
