The Good House
by Ann Leary
Hildy is irresistibly REAL, capricious, and likable all in one. A painfully funny but very original story about a 60-something alcoholic, with a gay ex-husband, and a touch of psychic abilities. Exceptional writing allows Hildy’s voice to lead us along an honest portrayal of how we judge one-another by the homes we live in, the partners we choose, and the addictions we have. Brilliant novel.
