It’s more fairytale than Dark Academia though I’d probs recommend it to someone who isn’t familiar or doesn’t really enjoy dark academia idk. I didn’t like the characters and I especially HATED the romance. The only character I liked was Angharad . Although, I really love the ending.
One more thing I’d like to add would be that I wish there was a content warning in the book because I was so uncomfortable reading certain things and usually I’m quite open minded with things and I know there are there for a reason, a warning would have been nice.
