This was such a beautiful romance! I really really loved it! It was such a wonderful and unexpected surprise to comfort me in these dark times of healing from reading the last book in one of my favorite series 💖

Anyway ✨

The romance between Nozue and Togawa was so realistic! I loved the slow-burn of it. We really got a lot of cute scenes of them bonding. Nozue shared his fears, and Togawa tried to help him overcome them. They went on a lot of sweet non-dates, and genuinely enjoyed themselves. It was so lovely!

The relationship between Nozue and Togawa was far from perfect, but the tensions and doubts were absolutely real. Nozue’s reservations about his feelings for Togawa because he’s ten years older than him and his boss were handled so well! He has a lot of anxieties about his age and change, and it was just perfectly portrayed! I loved that at the end of it all they do talk about it. They may not immediately lay all their cards on the table, but they do eventually talk things out.

It all just leads to a very healthy, wholesome, and heartwarming romance. I can’t wait to watch the live action drama! They’re just too cute to resist! And their playful banter? Be still my heart!

Definitely check this out if you’re inclined to read BL that is of the less smutty variety and has a well developed romance. Just a 10/10 office romance
