The Knife's Edge: The Heart and Mind of a Cardiac Surgeon
by Stephen Westaby
From what I can recall, this book is quite similar to his first book - details of operations, a description of his head injury and a clear (and probably deserved) disdain for the current health system. It is also eminently readable and fascinating. Westaby is not perfect, nor does he claim to be, but he is surely a talented and admirable man and I enjoyed his tale greatly.
