I really wasn't sure if I was going to like this story, it was an odd & slow start & I thought about putting it aside for a later time specially knowing I can't go straight into the 2nd book. I however continued bc to my surprise I started to really get into it & liking it. I love the way the characters slowly began to warm & win me over. This isn't a light & easy read either as the FMC is battling a lot of grief & PTSD, which made it even more emotional for me. But the way she struggled & handled herself & the way the guys all are there for her warmed my heart. 🥹🖤 There wion building between them wasn't a rushed or needy tension either, it was slow & subtle growing more & more over time. The romance is definitely slow paced & hasn't fully snapped just yet but it's definitely coming to a boiling point g ofc it had to end on such a cliffhanger. 😩😭 I have waited weeks for this hold through Libby & had I fully realized I might have waited longer just so I could carry right on into book 2, but I didn't & now I'm waiting probably several weeks for the hold on the next book to come in. 😩 I can't wait to see where the story will lead me. 🖤
