Surprisingly cutesy.
I must confess based on the title and description I expected something smuttier. I mean a hot professor and a college student in need of "extra credit"? That screams porn script. So I was rather taken back by the sweetness of it all. Socially awkward professor has a crush on his handsome, confident student. They inadvertently begin to court and nothing sexy actually happens until very late into the novel. This book completely focused on character development and the MC's helping one another with personal demons. They ought to change the title to something more appropriate like, "A Virgin Professor's Guide to Dating".
