Son of the Shadows by Juliet Marillier
5.0

This is has always been my favorite book of the sevenwaters trilogy.Liadan has a special place in my heart. There were many details that i did not remember. There is much darkness in this story and violence but there is light too and love. This tale is very different from Sorcha's.If you read the first book, you will learn some things that came to past with it's characters. If enjoy celtic folclore, a strong female characters and twists this is a good book for you. But be prepare for sadness, especially if you read the first book.
(I read the sevenwaters trilogy 10 years ago, in the portuguese edition. My sister lend me her books and I felt in love with Marillier words and her world. I loved it so much, it inspired me to write and it made me so happy when she continued to write more books in the sevenwaters world. I bought the original books in english awhile back, i have always cherish them on my shelf and 10 years after the first reading it felt like the right time to revisit sevewaters.I am not same person that I was when I first read it, there were some details that I did remember. But it felt like going home.)
