This is categorized as an interconnected duet standalone but I would highly encourage you read the first two books beforehand. This book is a very nice continuation in the world of Abbs Valley focusing on Evie and her boys. I look forward to what the second half of the book holds considering that one of the major plot points actually got wrapped up by the end of this book.
